Jolly Chicken Curry Pasta

Our favorite season for reunions and get together is here again and what a better way to celebrate than with food!

Our friends from Jolly and Fly Ace surely has some ingredients that are very useful for the dishes that you will prepare this season! For my recommendation, try something new with this recipe that I will share to you on this blog post. Its traditionally served with rice but we also find it very suitable for pasta!

Thankfully I have my mom and tita over the weekend to help me prepare and cook this wonderful masterpiece. The ingredients are very simple and steps are easy to follow.

4 large cloves of garlic, minced
1 large onion, sliced
2 chicken breast, cut to cubes
2 medium potato, cubed
1 medium carrot, cubed
1 can Jolly green peas, drained
1 large red bell pepper, cut to squares
1 can Jolly whole mushrooms
1 can Jolly coconut cream
2 tbsp curry powder
Salt and pepper to taste

500 g Dona Elena pasta (cooked accdg to package instructions)

1. Saute garlic and onion.
2. Add chicken breast, potato and carrots. Add salt and pepper according to taste. Allow to simmer until chicken is cooked.
3. Add green peas, pepper and mushrooms.
4. Mix curry powder according to taste. Allow to simmer.
5. Add coconut cream and being to boil until all ingredients are completely cooked.
6. Served on top of pasta.

Avoid using red curry since this may not be very appealing for a pasta dish.
Do not overuse curry powder as it may leave a strong spicy flavor which may over power the taste of chicken.
