DFT in Dubai Part 1

Okay, so this a little late, about 2 months late :p but I would still like to share some of my adventures in the Golden City of Dubai where I was not only able to eat different dishes but also enjoyed picturesque scenes, not to mention quality time with my siblings.
Contrary to the popular belief that there are only few things to eat in Dubai because its in the Middle East, the city is rich with various restaurants of different cuisines and specialties. Lucky me that I was able to sample some of the best dishes and experience different culture in one vacation!

Now, lets make you crave and hungry!

Beachcombers
Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Beachfront, Umm Suqeim Dubai
Cuisine: Mixed Asian and Grilled
Beachcombers is a buffet with choices of different Filipino-Asian cuisine and offers a bar of fresh seafood like oysters and shells. You can also enjoy freshly grilled shrimps, fish and other seafood while enjoying a view of the beach overlooking the Persian Gulf and the Burj Al Arab. You can dine indoors and enjoy melodies of live singers or stay outdoors and feel the ocean breeze and the sand on your feet.

Belgian Cafe (Ras Al Khaimah)

Cuisine: American-Belgian Fusion
Enjoy a sunny brunch, heavy snack or dine for lunch or dinner while overlooking a golf range in the beautiful city of Ras Al Khaimah which is only about 1 to 2-hour drive from Dubai. The cafe serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages like the strawberry-flavored beer in the photo.

Bosporus

Of course, are we going to miss some traditional East Asia cuisine? Bosporus is located right in the middle of the city with the perfect view of the Burj Khalifa. You can enjoy the winter breeze while dining at the outdoor area where warmers are placed to keep you just warm enough. After your sumptuous meal, you can enjoy Shisha or order a Turkish coffee or tea.

Mamma Rosella

Cuisine: Italian

Yes, there is Hard Rock Cafe that looks like just like any Hard Rock Cafe in the world. You get to enjoy your huge servings of dishes while enjoying the music of legendary artists.

Hickory-Smoked barbecue Combo (duo)

Ihop

Cuisine: Mixed (All-day Breakfast)

Well, what is to say? Ihop is everyone’s favorite! Head to the beach in the JBR or enjoy your hearty breakfast and head to the beach then head back to Ihop again?! Surely, as long as you have an appetite for bacon, pancakes, eggs, or anything breakfast, Ihop is a homerun!
