THE VERDICT

Palate
“Bulgogi All You Can”

For people who are afraid of trying out Korean dishes, Gogi Gui is a safe place to initiate. The menu is very friendly to customers who wants to have an idea how Korean barbeque tastes like. You can consume either pork, chicken or beef or upgrade to Kalbi or Chadol. You can season your meat and cook it to your desire. This, in my opinion, is the great thing about having a teppan on your own–it adds to your experience or should i say it completes your dining experience.

Price
“Extremely Affordable”

And I say this with curiosity, Gogi Gui’s price is below P200! That is not even half of the price you pay when dining in a restaurant ala carte! Gogi Gui’s price ranges from those fastfood and regular restaurants, friendly even for students. The price however did not compromise any of their service–their staff is very accommodating and friendly no matter how busy they look (a BIG PLUS POINTS from me). Its cheap, yummy and a great place to go.

Place
“Small but Terrible”

Here is the little downside. Gogi Gui only houses a few customer at a time. With only a maximum of 8 tables inside, people surely would line up and wait in queue just to make sure that they get a good spot. Each table can only accommodate a maximimum of 4 persons and the grill is a little small (good for one person). They have limited the guests’ stay inside for 2 hours, which is only fair for the those who are waiting.
Aside from punctuality, you may want to consider your next plan after dining. Since the place is small, ventilation may be a little issue as the yummy smell of barbecue stays in your skin, clothes, even hair until the next day! First date? Uhm, better think about that!
