Davao Food Appreciation Tour 2014 kicked off at the modern Restaurant, Bar & Grill (RBG) of Park Inn by Radisson Davao. The group composed of bloggers from different parts of the Philippines were welcomed by RBG’s Megan Sta. Ines and the friendly chefs and hotel staff of Park Inn by Radisson.

Palate
“Local Tongue with a Modern Twist”
One thing I like about RBG is highlighting local products in their menu. My favorite from the menu is their Ceviche where the tuna was served and with just the right amount of sourness/ acidity from its dressing.
Although the cheesecake was a little sweet, the durian flavour for a cheesecake is a good combination that others might not be very eager to try but surely wont regret. The mangosteen flavour, on the other hand is a good alternative to those who don’t want to try the Durian Cheesecake. The dessert is truly a Davao in one plate!
Price
“Affordable but Definitely Not Cheap”
I would recommend RBG for a good Sunday lunch with family or a good night out treat with friends. Its al fresco area is a good way to experience the Davao breeze and relax with good company. A good food and a great place, RGB is a good place to spend your money for a reward.

“Urban Downtown Meets Class”
A well-decorated high-ceiling bar and restaurant makes you feel like staying in a modern-inspired mansion. As RGB serves as the bar for the Park Inn guests, it’s also a relaxing place to unwind and lounge while waiting for your appointment or meeting some acquaintances. Its al fresco area can also be good spot for a romantic dinner or a cozy date with friends.
For tourists, RGB and Park Inn by Radisson is a highly recommended place to stay when visiting Davao—ideal for shopping as its only a stone’s throw to SM Lanang Premiere, accessible to the airport (10-15 minutes ride from Francisco Bangoy International Airport) and a ride away to gateway Davao.
